Lantern Hollow
★★★★☆ 4.3
Lantern Hollow is the game for evenings when you want to unwind rather than compete. You explore a misty village, light lanterns to reveal paths, and slowly piece together what happened to the people who lived there. It's slow, in the good sense.
There's light puzzle-solving woven through the exploration, mostly about connecting clues and finding the right sequence to open a way forward. Nothing here will stump you for hours, but the atmosphere carries it. The soundtrack alone is worth headphones.
It's short, maybe four hours, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. I finished it in two sittings and immediately wanted more from the same team.
What we liked
- Beautiful, moody atmosphere
- Relaxed pacing and puzzles
