Emberfall Legends

Emberfall Legends is the RPG we recommend when someone wants a proper adventure that respects a phone screen. You build a party of four, wander a hand-drawn world, and fight in turn-based battles that ask you to think about positioning rather than just spamming your strongest move.

The writing is the quiet star here. Characters bicker, grow and occasionally surprise you, and the side quests often have more heart than the main plot. Combat stays interesting because each class has a role that actually matters when the difficulty ramps up.

It's generous with saves and lets you pause mid-battle, which makes it ideal for stop-start mobile play. The only downside is a slow first hour before the party fills out.
