Big Rush Luck

★★★★★ 4.6 Editor rating

Big Rush Luck looks like your standard endless runner at first glance, but the moment you learn the dash mechanic it turns into something with real rhythm. You control a little courier sprinting through a stylised city, and instead of just swiping to jump, you charge a short burst that carries you over gaps and past obstacles. Nailing the timing feels great, and messing it up is always your own fault, which is exactly what you want in a game like this.

The controls are simple to describe and hard to master. One tap to jump, hold and release to dash, swipe down to slide. That's it. The genius is in how the levels stack these together into little combos, so a clean run feels like playing a drum pattern. We kept coming back for one more attempt way past when we meant to stop.

Presentation is clean and readable even when the screen gets busy. There's a light progression system that unlocks new courier skins and city districts, but nothing that gets in the way of the actual running. It's the kind of game you can play for two minutes in a queue or forty minutes on the couch.
