Jade Arcade started as a shared spreadsheet between a few friends who kept arguing about which racing game had the best drift model. That spreadsheet got out of hand, and now it's a small site where we play mobile games, take notes, and turn those notes into reviews you can trust.,We lean toward racing and arcade titles because that's what we love, but we don't stop there. A good RPG, a clever strategy game or a relaxing simulation all get room here. The only rule is that we have to actually enjoy playing it long enough to have an opinion.,Games get picked in a pretty unglamorous way. Someone spots something on a store chart, we split it up, everyone plays for at least a few evenings, and then we compare notes. If a game falls apart after the first hour, we say so. If it grows on us, we say that too.,Nobody here gets paid by developers to be nice. The reviews are written after the credits roll, or after we've simply had enough hours in a game to know how it holds up.
